Lose Weight Breaks
For those of us who are so busy at night right now because of all the good tv shows (Lost, American Idol, Biggest Loser, Castle, The Mentalist, The Forgotten, and the Olympics to name a few) here is an easy way to utilize that time to help yourself lose weight. Take advantage of the commercial breaks to do simple exercises such as lunges, wall sits, crunches, push ups, body squats, and other toning exercises.
An average commercial break is 4 1/2 minutes long and there are usually about six or seven of them per hour show. Can you imaging how much exercise you can get in during that time? So if you dvr the shows, don’t fast forward through the commercials. Use that time to tone some overlooked muscles and burn some calories to help you lose weight.
