Smaller Portions
Lose the weight you are wanting to this year by making some small adjustments in your eating habits. A good way to start is to eat off a smaller plate. Those 10″ plates are so last year and your fat will be too if you follow this simple rule. Get a smaller plate (8″ or smaller) and load it up with your food. Eat everything on your plate and then wait 20 minutes to see if you are still hungry. If you aren’t still hungry, DON’T go back for seconds! If you are still hungry, get more to eat but don’t go overboard. I challenge you to try this and see how you feel after meals. Chances are you will begin feeling satisfied after meals instead of wanting to loosen your pants because you ate too much.
Try this: load up a small plate of food with as much as you can possibly fit on there. Then dump it on to a 10″ plate and see the difference. Realize how much more food you would be eating if you were to load up the 10″ plate the same way.
