Weight Loss Stimulus Plan

With summer just about over and school right around the corner, it is easy to turn away from all those beach body aspirations you had and say “I’ll try again next year.” Well, there’s no need to put off for tomorrow, what can be done today. Easier said than done I’m sure, considering the fact the fall usher’s in the two biggest eating holiday’s of the year. But it is possible if you start now.

Most weight loss decisions usually involve spending lots of money on the new gadget on TV or a year’s membership to the gym that you know you won’t use with your busy schedule. Taking that all into consideration, I’ve compiled a list of things that you can do that won’t take much of your time or cost you really any money.

1.  Go for a walk. Walking is one of the most underestimated forms of exercise. A person who weighs 175 lbs. or more can burn 300 calories per hour, just by taking a brisk walk. It is a lot easier on your body and you don’t have to pay to take a walk around the neighborhood. It is completely free and it allows you to get some fresh air at the same time.

2.  Find a workout on TV. Early morning television usually includes fitness programs ranging from yoga to aerobics to weight training. This is a great way to lose weight because local broadcasting is free and these stations generally show a different workout everyday giving your workout variety. If you still have the luxury of dish or cable, look for the channel dedicated to personal fitness twenty-four hours a day. That way finding time in your busy schedule becomes easier and you can set aside time for specific workouts that you enjoy.
