Walk Yourself Ready for Summer

Change What You Wear

Whether you’ve been on your weight loss program for awhile or just starting, it’s important that you consider getting rid of that old wardrobe and buying new clothes that show off your progress. The great thing about doing this is that even though we don’t feel like we’re losing a lot people around us will see the slightest changes if we are wearing clothes that fit our bodies better. And the nice thing about people noticing is that our confidence and commitment increase with each new compliment. Don’t go out and buy a bunch of new things because chances are we’re not at our goal weight yet. So buy a couple shirts and a couple pairs of jeans and see how it goes for you.

If you are struggling with what to buy use these tips:

  • Buy vintage cut or style sweaters or shirts. This style will show off your arms and chest but will usually hang loose at the waist.
  • Buy dark colors
  • Vertical stripe clothing is a great way to look and feel slimmer and it also stretches you out making you feel taller.
  • Guys buy boot cut jeans and girls buy jeans that show your curves but don’t feel like you’re running out of oxygen, also girls wearing guy cut jeans are in right now so try that as long as there not way bagging in the butt.
  • Girls buy light cardigan sweaters or Boucle to make you look and feel sexy without showing many curves. V-necks, scoops, and off the shoulder styles are great ideas of what’s “in” right now.

You’re going to have to get out of your comfort zone a bit on this so go ahead and be brave. Take someone with you that has a sense of style and will be honest with you on how you look.

Work Off Weight at Work

hCG to Lose Weight?

What is hCG and why does everyone keep talking about it?

Here is a brief overview of it.  It is a hormone that is present in pregnant women

You can inject it, rub it, or take drops under the tongue.  You don’t need a prescription for it.

Sounds too good to be true, right?  Fat melting away?  Not ever hungry? Well it might be to good to be true.  Just like any diet it is not guaranteed for everyone.  Even though it is safe for men and women it has NOT been approved by the FDA because it hasn’t been fully tested.

Inexpensive Workout Equipment

Too busy to make it to the gym today?  Try getting a workout in at home. And  I don’t mean putting in one of those old 70’s workout videos either.  They are way too long and and really outdated.

Take control of your own workout and get yourself some basic workout equipment so that when you are too busy or too tired to make it to the gym you can pull out your workout equipment and get in a powerful but short workout.  Whether you’re just beginning or you’ve been working out for awhile, these pieces of equipment are a must in order to have success in either losing weight or keeping the weight off.

This equipment includes:

-    A Swiss (exercise) ball

-    Exercise bands (preferably different weights)

-    Medicine Ball (6 or 8 lbs)

-    Jump Rope

If your day gets too busy and you’re unable to make it to the gym then having these things in our home will give you the chance to still get a great workout at home. When buying these items look for ones that include workouts with them that way you have workouts that require them.

This workout equipment is fairly inexpensive but priceless when it comes to those days we can’t make it to the gym.
